What sort of business is it?
What do we know about what it is doing?
Use of the STEEP model as a framework for analysis

What are the differences between the two businesses?
What might be the benefits and the costs for each of the businesses?
Compile a SWOT framework for each of the two businesses to help them organise their thoughts
11. Key points about case studies Read the case through quickly once to get a feel for the situation
Understand what it is you are required to do – check the questions and any instructions
Re-read the case, make notes, ask yourself, ‘what seems to be going on here that may be relevant?
Start organising your thoughts/notes using concepts from the course to help you expand upon and support your diagnosis
