  2. Community Exchange • Instructions found in Handbook (pg. XX) • Example pictured shows first graders from Clifton ISD and Hong Kong

  3. Literature Exchange (Read Around the Planet) • Instructions found in Handbook (pg. XX) • RAP can be a bit overwhelming for building coordinators, but is so amazing!

  4. Monster Exchange • Instructions found in Handbook (pg. XX) • Practice following directions, can integrate subjects • Can be 2D or 3D – It is very important for teachers to communicate whether they are creating 2D or 3D monster! • NOTE: Send descriptions via Google Doc ASAP! • Google Doc address is linked on 123VC wiki under Monday -> Exchange Projects

  5. Animal Exchange • Instructions found in Handbook (pg. 25) • Great way to promote reading, writing, and speaking in science.

  6. Exchange Simulations Logistics – Each site will divide into 2 groups. Each group will demonstrate an exchange project. Projects: • Community Exchange – CNYRIC & Houston • Literature Exchange (RAP) – CNYRIC & ESC Region 11 • Monster Exchange – ESC Region 11 & Houston

  7. Timeline 10:15 AM EST / 9:15 AM CST Roll Call and Exchange Intro 10:30 AM EST / 9:30 AM CST Prepare Presentations (30 minutes!!!) 11:00 AM EST / 10:00 AM CST Exchanges (~5 minutes per site) Community, Literature (RAP), Monster 11:45 AM EST / 10:45 AM CST Debrief
