THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT CELLS IS: • Cells produce energy • Cells produce waste • Cells are vital for life. They literally DO EVERYTHING!
Where is the Energy Produced? Where is the energy produced again? Where is the waste stored?
Energy is required for ALL CELLULAR ACTIVITY related to digestion, transport, repair of damage, and reproduction. Plant cells have chloroplasts which contain chlorophyll which is in charge of converting carbon dioxide, water, and nutrients from the soil into SUGAR!
But Miss. Corelli? How in the world do food/gases and waste get in and out of the cell!?!?!?

Since plastic is impermeable, it may keep you nice and dry, but you will be very hot and sweaty inside. You need a material that will let air out, but keep you dry.
Such material is SELECTIVELY PERMEABLE. The cell wall/cell membrane is SELECTIVELY PERMEABLE. Look at this strainer.
