  2. Getting Started • Go to our website www.fasterasset.com • Click on Secure Customer Site and enter your information • RESOURCES >> FASTER WIN 6 UPGRADE PLANNING >> START THE UPGRADE PROCESS

Environment Options • Will you stand up and install a new test environment? • When would you like to install FASTER Win 6.0 in your test environment? • Are you promoting your test environment to your production environment? • When would you like to install FASTER Win 6.0 in your production environment?

  4. Review the Upgrade Plan • We have provided a comprehensive upgrade plan that covers most scenarios • Upload a copy of your database and Fuel Interfaces • Complete the Checklists • FASTER reviews the information and we discuss any discrepancies • We provide a date for the upgrade

  5. Checklists • Ensure your site has proper infrastructure compatibility with Win 6.0 • Prepare you for the upgrade in a way that ensures critical testing is completed • Enable us to better support you during the upgrade process. • Some will need to be completed by IT Personnel • Some will need to be completed by Fleet Personnel • There may be some cooperation needed depending on how you are structured

Site-Specific Info Needed for Install • We have created a “cheat sheet” to assist you for the day of installation • This lists critical information that you will need to complete the installation • This information will vary from site to site • We do not keep this information on record, this is for your benefit only

  7. FASTER Win 6.0 Features List • All features are located on our website • Allow Fleet to review these and ask questions: • Do they plan to use the new features? • Will they be able to set up the new features? • Additional information is provided in the 6.0 Manuals, also located on our website at: http://customer.fasterasset.com/download-center/manuals-documentation/faster-win/

  8. Day of Installation • Installation instructions are available on our website at: http://customer.fasterasset.com/resources/6-upgrades/win-6-0-install-guide/ • Verify requirements as dictated in checklists • Uninstall the server • Upgrade the database • Install the server • Install the clients

  9. Installation • Our installer will stop if minimum specs are not met • Hand off to our normal support process • Internally, our entire company is aware that you are upgrading • We will forward you immediately to those that are familiar with the upgrade and can assist

  10. Post Install • Smoke Test • Test any FASTER customizations • Test any User-created customizations
