2007-2008 • Establish Data Ownership • Consolidate Data – Remove Redundant Data Sources • Create a Data Dictionary so that all Data Elements are Consistent • Document and Post Critical District Business Processes • Establish Process Ownership
2007-2008 • Implement Data Warehouse • Awarded 2-Year Grant, $100,000 per year • Install Hardware • Install Software • Training – 81 Seats • Create Data Marts (repositories of a specific type of data) • Begin Enterprise Integration –Research Multiple Databases, Spreadsheets, etc. that Needed to be Consolidated • Form Data Team • Review SPS Data Tools • Pilot Student ePortfolios, for Students Moving from Grade 8 to Grade 9
