Guidance • The primary role of Guidance is to help students achieve academic success. • Adolescent problems and issues with peers and teachers. • Career information, college planning, and occupational assessment • Scholarship information and applications • Course selection information and assistance with scheduling classes • Academic conferences, interventions, and peer tutoring • Conflict resolution, anger management and substance abuse

  8. Requirements for Graduation • A student must earn a minimum of 135 credits. Coursework and Minimum Credits Needed: 4 years of English 3 years of Mathematics 3 years of Science 2 years of U.S. History 1 year of World Cultures 1 year of World Language 1 year of Fine or Performing Arts 1 year of Practical Arts ½ year Financial Literacy Physical Education & Health for each year of attendance Additional courses/electives and or Senior Internship Program, or Vocational Educational Program

  9. New Jersey High School Graduation Assessment Requirements • Class of 2021 and thereafter – Proficiency on ELA 10 and Algebra 1 NJSLA Assessments or NJDOE Portfolio Appeal Process. No Substitute Assesments will be accepted
