DMS People First TeamDavid DiSalvo, Administrator • Service: • To design and support a user friendly, reliable, online personnel system • System Users – 230,000, including active employees, retirees and university employees
Division of RetirementSarabeth Snuggs, Director • Service: • Serve more than: • 270,000 retirees • 680,000 active employees • 31,000 Deferred Retirement Option Program participants (DROP)
Division of State Group InsuranceMichelle Robleto, Director • Service: • Serve 350,000 state employees, retirees and dependents by administering health, life, disability and supplemental insurance benefits
Division of State PurchasingCharles Covington, Director • Service: • Develop and manage state term contracts used by agencies and local governments • Manage a training and certification program for purchasing professionals • Manage the state’s online purchasing system, MyFloridaMarketPlace • Provide guidance to agencies on the interpretation of pertinent statues and rules relating to procurement.

Department of Management Services • The Basics • Office coverage required between 8:00 AM & 5:00 PM • If you are approved for a flexible work schedule it must be entered in the People First system • 30 minute lunch (minimum) • Your work schedule must be approved by your supervisor • Breaks - Two 15 minute breaks per day • Paydays - every other Friday • Timesheets - due by 5:00 on Thursday (last day of each pay period)
