  2. PROJECTIONS What are projections used for? Forecasting salaries and expenses in order to determine a projected balance at the end of a budget and/or project period.

  7. Salary Projections • Salary Data still pulled from PPS • Payroll and Benefits based on the prior months charges including the general liability costs • Still View Salary projections by: *Employee ID *Index *Fund *Project Code

  8. Salary Projections • Now you can: *Type in and Find Employee Name *Override options: -Add, Copy or Delete -Index -Percentage -Rate *Input expiration date on payroll distribution overrides, preventing duplicate entries when PPS updates are done *No longer need group identifier; only authorized users allowed to use the tool *What if scenarios • Increase in the tool’s performance / speed

PROJECTIONS Expense Projections • Now you can: *Process a Mass update of an end date on all projections at once *Delete selected items or Delete All button *Can create expiration date for items that will be reflected in IFIS before the end of the month (i.e. POs) *Auto populate project code when doing a find • Increase in the tool’s performance / speed
