  2. SHOULD Should is an auxiliary verb, a modal auxiliary verb. You can use it to: • give advice or make recommendations • talk about obligation • talk about probability and expectation • Structure of “Should” • Positive Form • Subject + should + main verb + complement • Negative Form • Subject + should not (shouldn´t) + main verb • Question Form • Question Word +should + subject + main verb + complement? • Should + subject + main verb + complement?

  3. You shouldn´t smoke. (an advice) You should see this new movie. It´s great! (advice)  Susan should be in New York by next week. Her new job starts on Monday. (expectation) I should be at work before 8:00. (obligation) You should eat better. More fruits and vegetables. That´s health! (recommendation)
