Els Rànquings universitaris i el posicionament de la UPC • La UPC milloraposicions al 2011 • Malgrat persisteixen les dificultats de classificar-se a nivell mundial en determinats Rànkings, donat que l’especificitat politècnica no afavoreix davant rànquings generalistes que no recullen, o ho fan amb un pes poc significatiu, la transferència de tecnologia, la innovació, la internacionalització o la relació estreta amb el teixit empresarial... • ... la UPC ha millorat la seva posició, o s’ha posicionat per primera vegada, en un nombre gens menyspreable de Rànkings a les últimes edicions del2011.

Els Rànquings universitaris i el posicionament de la UPC • La UPC a l’Informe de la Fundación CYD: • Així mateix, la UPC surt també molt ben posicionada en determinats indicadors analitzats a l’últim Informe de la Fundación CYD (Informe CYD 2010). • És la primera universitat a nivell estatal en: • Sol·licitud de patents nacionals participades per universitats. • Nombre de projectes I+D (PID) aprovats pel CDTI (Centro para el desarrolloTecnológico Industrial, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación). • Nombre d’spin-offs que van signar un acord de llicència amb la universitat. • Procedència geogràfica doctorands: % de matriculats als estudis de doctorat amb residència a l’estranger.
