Why do we need Christian Parenting Ministry Many (Christian and non-Christian) parents send their children and youths to LGCC programs to obtain good Christian teachings Most parents do not have formal training on parenting There are many diverse views on parenting but not all based on Christian values Most parents have no support in parenting their children It is hard to find good references and resources for Christian parenting One of the key growth elements of LGCC during the past 35 years is the common shared value in raising families on solid Christian foundations What is our vision? The Christian Parenting ministry at LGCC will be a grass-root ministry carried out by our Christian parents to equip and support each other through sound Christian values, networking and mutual support, and access to good parenting resource materials. What are our goals? To provide much needed help to parents who are struggling with parenting Equipping parents with right attitudes, knowledge and skills Providing parents with mutual support and networking Providing access to good parenting resource materials and organizations To provide opportunities to our Christian parents to learn and serve at the same time To outreach to our community and non-Christian friends through this ministry to our common need To establish a parenting resource center for parents to use • Christian Parenting Ministry Launch • 5/15/10 Saturday 4 to 6:30 PM at LGCCMeeting Agenda • Get an overview of this ministry • Introduce the resources and network we have in place to assist parents • Plans we have for this ministry • DVD Presentation from Rev. 4. 為甚麼需要有基督徒教養子女事工？ 許多家長送他們的孩子來參加LGCC 的兒童或青少年節目，目的是為了讓孩童學習基督教信仰知識 。 多數家長未受過怎樣當父母的教育。 許多教育孩子的方法，不是建立在基督教信仰上。 大多數家長在育兒方面沒有別人的支持。 基督徒很難找到合宜的資料。 主恩教會在過去三十五年的成長因數之一就是幫助大 家建立基督化家庭 。 我們的事工異象是什麼？ 事工由平信徒父母乘擔。透過基督徒的價值觀，網絡及好的家庭教育資料，由家長互相配合及支援。 事工的目標是什麼？ 供給有需要的父母親提供教養子女的援助 裝備父母正確的態度，知識和技巧 建立網絡提供家長作互相支持及關懷之用 提供良好家庭教育材料及機構的資料 提供基督徒家長們一邊學習、一邊待奉的機會 將事工擴展，藉此向社區及未信的家庭傳揚福音 為家長設立一個育兒資源中心 • 基督徒教養子女事工開幕典禮 • 5/15/10週六下午4時至6時半在 • 主恩基督教會舉行 • 聚會程序： • 事工簡介 • 介紹各種資源及家長互相支持的聯絡網 • 分享事工計劃 • 播放光碟（Rev. Mark Holmen）講解 「如何培育子女有堅定不移的信仰」 • 子女信仰從家中開始 - 為何？如何？何時? • 我們都想給孩子最好的。 • 我們對孩子的信仰滿意嗎？ • 我們安心孩子所做的決定嗎？ • 是否已經太遲去幫助孩子在信仰上成長？ • 我們只需要調整或是徹底改變？ • Rev. Mark Holmen 會分享他的心路歷程， 和從神來的領悟。 • 當前可以實行的步驟。 • 有討論、 互動交流及建立聯絡網的機會 • 聆聽大家的意見，提供更有效的方法和內容
