  1. Dr. Robert Drapkin – A Trustee Of Museum Of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, Florida

  2. An experienced and board-certified medical professional, Dr. Robert Drapkinis an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He is licensed to practice in Florida. He is affiliated with many reputable organizations such as Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, Pinellas County Medical Association, and American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Aside from that, he is also a trustee for the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, Florida.

  3. Educational qualifications A well-qualified individual, Dr. Robert Drapkinearned his Bachelor’s degree in Science from the Union College, Schenectady, New York in June 1966. He attended Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy (New York) from July 1966 to August 1967 to pursue his Master’s degree in Science. Later on, he also enrolled at Wayne State University Medical School, Detroit and received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Robert has obtained many certifications, such as Diplomate Internal Medicine in June 1975, Diplomate Medical Oncology in June 1979, Fellow American College of Physicians in April 1981, and Diplomate Hospice and Palliative Care in February 2004.

  4. Different Hospital and Academic Appointments Dr. Robert Drapkin has served many leading hospitals throughout his career. From 1992 to 1997, he worked as a Medical Director for Stem Cell Program at Morton Plant Hospital located in Clearwater, Florida. He was a Resident in Internal Medicine (1971 to 1997), and the Chief Resident and Instructor in Internal Medicine (1974 to 1975) at the University Of Illinois Hospital, Chicago.

  5. Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant and Human Peripheral Blood Stem cell work From 1975 to 1977, Dr. Robert Drapkin assumed clinical responsibility at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York), under the supervision of Bayard Clarkson, MD. He also contributed to the Clinical research on human peripheral blood stem cells with Bayard Clarkson. This research was sponsored by the National Cancer Institute at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City.

  6. Publications Dr. Robert Drapkin has made contributions to several publications also, including Sub-populations of Human Peripheral Blood Cells: Analysis of Granulocytic Progenitor Cells by Flow Cytometry and Immunologic Surface; Sequential Methotrexate and 5-Fluorouracil in Human Malignant diseases, A Synergistic Regimen; and more.
