  1. Robert Drapkin MD Was Elected Fellow Of American College of Physicians In 1981

  2. A well-qualified and thorough person, Robert Drapkin MD has immense experience working with leading hospitals and academic centers in different capacities. He attended Union College, Schenectady, New York to receive Bachelor of Science degree, and Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York to complete his MS degree. Moreover, he also holds MD degree from Wayne State University Medical School, Detroit, Michigan. The Wayne State University School of Medicine is the largest single-campus school in the United States, with over 1, 000 medical students. Aside from undergraduate medical education, the school offers Ph. D., master’s degree and M.D.-Ph.D. programs in 14 areas of basic science.

Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa Since December 1979, Robert Drapkin MD has been working as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. In addition to this, he is also an Affiliate Physician at Moffit Cancer Center –a leading hospital that has been recognized for offering exceptional, best-in-class service to patients.

  4. Licenses and certifications Robert Drapkin MD is licensed to practice in Florida and holds certifications such as Diplomate of Internal Medicine, and Diplomate of Medical Oncology. He is also a member of Solid Tumor Panel, Full Member of American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (1981). His other affiliations include Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Internal Medicine, Pinellas County Medical Association and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

  5. Pharmaceutical experience Robert Drapkin also has vast experience in pharmaceutical industry. He worked with Supergen from 1999 to 2001-IND, Protocol design and was also a Speaker to develop the drug Nipent in Malignant Lymphoma and CLL.

Affiliated to many hospitals Currently, Robert Drapkin MD is affiliated with many reputed hospitals, including Morton Plant Mease- Dunedin Hospital, Morton Plant Mease- Countryside Hospital, Clearwater, Morton Plant Hospital-Clearwater, Largo Medical Center and Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. He started the stem cell program at Morton Plant Hospital and has been serving as Co-Director of this program since 1992.
