Jason Grill was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives. In his first session, he was elected as the treasurer of the Freshman Member Caucus and was the only freshman member to sponsor and pass a bill in the Missouri House and a senate bill during the 2007 legislative session.

In 2006, Jason Grill was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives. In his first session, he was elected as the treasurer of the Freshman Member Caucus and was the only freshman member to sponsor and pass a bill in the Missouri House and a senate bill during the 2007 legislative session. As a representative, he served on committees, which included small business, health insurance, tax reform, and senior nutrition. In 2008, he passed a sponsored legislation which helps fight identity theft and protects the customers who were victims of identity theft in Missouri.
Jason Grill is actively involved in the community. He is a member of various Chambers of Commerce such as Parkville Chamber of Commerce, Northland and Riverside Chamber of Commerce. Jason currently serves on the Board of Driectors at Don Bosco, the Board of Advisors at Neighbor.ly, the Board of Advisors at the Parternership for Technology Innovation and as a Community Media/Press Leader for KC Startup Village.
Jason Grill was born in 1979 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended St. Therese Grade School in Platte County. During school days, he participated in various community activities that included baseball, soccer, the Boy Scouts and other activities organized at St. Therese Catholic Church. Later on, he joined St. Pius X High School. While studying there, he became Eagle Scout and earned three varsity letters in football, two in tennis and two in Basketball. Jason Grill was named Kansas City Star Scholar Athlete. He completed BS in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, He obtained a JD (Juris Doctor) with an Advanced certificate in Dispute Resolution from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
Jason Grill received many honors and awards for his contribution to the society. He was declared KC Man of Year 2011 and raised $3000 for Autism Speaks and was honored as a Rising Star by KC Business Magazine, with the cover photo and tagline 'The Future of Kansas City Business Lies in the Hands of Jason Grill' in their February 2010 issue. He was voted KC's Best Local Politician in 2008 and named to Missouri Lawyer Weekly’s up and coming lawyers of Missouri list. The Autism Society of America and Autism Speaks awarded him with their Advocacy Award. He received the Distinguished Recent Graduate Award by the University of Missouri-Columbia School of law in September 2010.
