  3. Climate Change • Is more than just a change in the weather, it refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems, and the human economies and cultures that depend on them.

  4. Tornadoes • Possible correlation between tornadoes and climate change • Frequency and magnitude increasing • Massive damage • Particularly important to American mid west

  5. Hurricanes • Global Warming green house affect • As the ocean warms hurricanes become stronger • Stronger hurricanes form in perfect conditions out to sea • Storms are much weaker and less destructive when they form closer to land
