Attention to management processes, strategy, structure, and most importantly roles and skills are key to successfully introducing technology in university teaching and learning.

Recommendations • Development of clear statements that focus on learning • Strategic Plan that focuses on learning, eLearning, eTeaching and learning space design • Develop guiding principles, factors and learning designs similar to Australia • Change the structure of the Ed Tech Steering CTTE so that it becomes a subcommittee • Move Teaching and Learning Cttee to the forefront • Leadership of the Teaching and Learning Cttee perhaps at a Dean/Director’s Level or even VP • Complete learning strategic plan within 2008-2009 academic year

  16. Radical Thoughts • Change SETC’s name to…. • The Learning Innovation Centre • Market this centre so that it appears as an important link within the College’s Business Plan • Include SETC in discussion about building design for the health science and trades buildings.
