Operation HOPE + George Washington University Investing in the Future of our Youth Want to know more? Attend a special “Brown Bag Lunch” on Friday, October 8th. 125th Street Branch: (Time and Location) Metrotech Center: (Time and Location) A thirty minute presentation will be followed by an important training session for those interested in volunteering. Save the Date Financial Literacy Day of Service HD Woodson High School 540 55th St, NEWashington DC, 20019 April 30, 2012 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Bobby.Sanborn@gmail.com Operation HOPE’S Banking on Our Future program educates youth ages 9-18 at no cost to school districts, with a focus on urban, underserved communities. The program consists of four modules: Basics of Banking, Checking and Savings, The Power of Credit, and Investments. Volunteers not only provide information critical to establishing a strong financial foundation, but also expose students to a wealth of opportunities and professional avenues.
