  1. Study of production mechanisms of neutron-rich isotopes in the reaction 22Ne (40MeV/A) + 9Be Summer Students Practice, Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, JINR, Dubna Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna

  2. Anna Borowiec, UW, Warsaw Katarzyna Hadyńska, UAM, Poznań Łukasz Koszuk, UW, Warsaw, Jakub Pietrzak, UW, Warsaw Supervisor: mgr Grzegorz Kamiński Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna

  3. COMBAS Separator • Study the reaction mechanisms in the interval of intermediate energies, especially close to the Fermi energy (≈ 38 MeV). • Investigation of the particle stability limits • Study of the properties of unstable nuclei near the drip-lines • Producton of secondary beams of neutron-rich nuclei with 2 ≤ Z ≤ 12 Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna

  4. Aim of the project • Reproduce experimental velocity distributions of Na, C, and Be isotopes obtained in the reaction 22Ne(40MeV/A)+ 9Be(14mg/cm2) using Open LISE ++ Symulator • Comparison of experimental data with symulation results Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna

  5. Results for Be and Na isotopes A.Borowiec, J.Pietrzak Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna A.Borowiec, K. Hadyńska, J.Pietrzak

  6. Results for C istopes K. Hadyńska, Ł. Koszuk (not normalized)

  7. Conclusions • Reaction products formed in fragmentation reaction give contribution tothetotal yield. • Simulation with assumption only one reaction mechanism (projectilefragmentation) cannot describe experimental data. • A more sophisticated reaction model needed. Summer Students Practice, JINR, Dubna

  8. Acknowledgements Special thanks to Management of Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Director of University Center Dmitri Vladimirovich Fursaev and staff of Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions for organize Summer Students Practices. We also would like to thanks to our Supervisor Grzegorz Kamiński for dedicate us his time and patience. Great thanks to dr Władysław Chmielowski and dr hab.
