Why are we here? • Promote FGR’s mission through basketball • Father Gabriel Richard Regional Catholic High School is a regional, comprehensive, co-educational Catholic high school offering a value-centered education based upon Catholic principles and traditions. We are committed to providing the highest quality education to young men and women in a positive learning environment. How do we do this, specifically? • Practices • The goal is that all players will attend all practices. • Will Not Happen! • Expectation: Let us know as far in advance • Will effect other things, specifically playing time. • Be on time • Properly equipped • Schedule online • Subscribe • There will be changes, sorry! Nuts and Bolts • Home Games • Will ask Freshman, JV and Varsity teams to watch other teams play as a group on Friday Home Games(3 Times) • Away Games • All players will ride home together on bus from away games on Friday(2 Times), except Skyline • Will stop for food on way back • Will be polling all parents shortly about need for bus home on remaining away games. • Saves athletic dept $150 per game Father Gabriel Richard High School 4333 Whitehall Drive Ann Arbor MI 48105

Holiday Tournament • December 27 and 28: V/JV/F • Grand Rapids West Catholic • Overnight • Hotel: roughly $40 per person • Need a couple chaperones per team • Drivers • More information to follow • Please let coach know ASAP if out of town • First time, bear with me! Eligibility • Teachers evaluate Athletes every 2 weeks • If an Athlete has below a 60% in any class he/she will be ineligible for 2 weeks. • One Week Review • If the grade is raised within 1 week, athlete will become eligible. • Ineligibility goes from Mon-Mon. • Coaches, Athletes and parents will be informed on Fridays through Edline by the athletic office. • Any questions regarding grades should be directed to teacher, not athletic office.
