Office of Research Services • The Office of Research Services (ORS) is the central University office responsible for all pre-award and non-financial post-award sponsored project activities for the Chicago, Rockford and Peoria campuses of the University of Illinois. • RDS and ORS supports faculty from development to award stage.

ORS Authority • ORS is the authorized institutional representative for sponsored project activity and provides institutional endorsements on proposal submissions. • ORS has delegated Board of Trustees signature authority to bind the university on sponsored research agreements and award acceptance.
