IRAC Activities • IRAC - policy matters • FAS - frequency assignments • SPS - spectrum planning and support • SSS - space system coordination/registration • TSC - technical standards and compliance • RCS - radio conference preparatory matters • EPS - emergency planning • Ad Hoc groups - various, including Mexican and Canadian coordination

  5. ITU-R Preparation • US Study Groups & Working Parties • One for each ITU-R SG or WP • Do technical studies, prepare input papers • US National Committee of ITU-R • Final review of all proposed input papers • FCC Advisory Committees for WRC, PP, + • USDEL meetings and preparatory work

  6. International Fora • CITEL PCC-III • Western hemisphere regional coordination • Counterparts: CEPT, APT, Arab, African Grps • Becoming better organized and more useful • CTU • Caribbean group • Members are in CITEL

  7. International Fora - 1 • WMO • U.S. member of SG-RFC • Editor of pending Handbook of Meteorology • Input, information papers to other meetings • SFCG • Develop and present input papers • Coordinate issues, strategy with metsat ops • CGMS • Develop and present input papers
