NIST • NIST’s mission is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve the quality of our lives.
Teaming Opportunities:Grants and Contracts • We recommend that MSIs: • Introduce themselves as potential sources for services and products • Demonstrate your understanding of our programmatic mission and how you can effectively team with us.
Strategies for Teaming • Like many for-profit businesses with little Federal acquisition experience, it may be necessary for an MSI to team with another entity, e.g., another MSI, IHE, or small business. • Teaming takes the form of prime/subcontractor or joint venture.
