Research • October of 2008, a group of European researchers examined the impact of six different daily weather factors on human emotions— Humidity Wind Air pressure Temperature Sunlight Length of day
Humidity & Emotion • Higher humidity dampened concentration and induced sleepiness. (E. Howarth and M.S. Hoffman, 1984. Supported by Grohol) • Higher humidity lowered mood traits such as vigor and affection. (J.L. Sanders & M.S. Brizzolara, 1982. Supported by Grohol)

Temperature & Emotion • Warm temperatures and exposure to sunshine have the greatest positive impact on moods. • Warmer temperatures lowered anxiety and skepticism while. • More hours of sunshine increased positive thinking.
