Ensure student success by proposing a mandatory online orientation for GRCC's new distance learners. Research supports increased retention and graduation rates post-orientation. Provide feedback to the faculty advisory board for policy implementation. Winter template available for reference.

  2. Policy Proposal All students who are new to distance learning at GRCC are required to complete an orientation before they can enroll in an online or hybrid class.

  4. Well-defined expectations need to be available prior to enrollment, not after the course has started. Our current system does not have this in place.
