Procedure • Attach one paper cup o the plate, face down, by taping it. • Attach the second paper cup on top of the first with the cup face up by taping it. • Tear off a piece of foil, large enough to completely cover the cups and the plate • Place the foil over the cups and plate and turn the foil under the plate edge. • Tape the foil in place • Poke a hole in through the middle of the cup about the size of the penny

  3. Solution Preparation 7. Pour 2 table spoons of water into a separate paper cup along with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. 8 . Mix it together 9. Put 2 drops of red food dye into the mixture of water and baking soda 10. In another cup, measure 2 tablespoons of vinegar. 11. Pour the mixture of water baking soda, and food dye through the hole at the top of your volcano 12. Now, pour the vinegar into the water, baking soda, and red food dye and watch your lava bubble up! Write Down your observations.
