Hypothesis • Which solution would make the kidney beans grow the tallest in a period of four weeks? • Kidney bean being watered with Miracle Growth will grow the tallest • Contains special nutrients designed to help the plant to have a healthy growth

Materials • Potting soil • Miracle Growth • 6 same 7 oz. plastic cups • 3 popsicle sticks • Permanent marker • Fish water • Measuring cup • 9 kidney beans • ruler

Procedure • Gather materials • Poke 5 holes in each cup • Measured 3 ½ in. soil into each cup • Dig three 1 ½ cm. holes in each cup of soil for kidney beans • Labeled popsicle sticks • Create Miracle Growth solution • Watered plants

Results • Fish water plant was the tallest at 10 inches • Tap water plant was the second tallest at 8½ inches • Miracle Growth was the third tallest at 8 inches
