Water Quality Sampling Program • Next TAC meeting to be dedicated to Water Quality focusing on 4 main action items: • Finalizing analysis and interpretation of data collected in 2012 • Metals • Source tracing • Etc. • Identifying gaps and follow up sampling needs and put together implementation plan • Prepare for intensive sampling of Lake and Lake Tribs as per original plan • Communications….

  3. “Land Use Visits” • Working Group and CWB members visiting farms with Dave Tattum to discuss sampling results and manure management • 4 Action items moving forward • Continue visits and relationship building • Work towards compliance with existing guidelines • Organize workshop for farmers to discuss innovative economic opportunities • Develop Pilot project in Cowichan Valley

  4. Broadway Run Stabilization Project • The “next Stoltz bluff project” • High risk situation with deteriorating conditions • Craig Wightman (BCCF) to provide technical update to CSRT and CWB • CSRT to take lead on project implementation • Next step detailed project design, drawings and budget • Potential partnership funding
