  5. In our early discussions with Ken Bloom (YPF chair) we suggested a three-part format: Week 1: Intro and outline Week 2: Town Meeting (not pre-prepared talks, actual information-gathering) Week 3: Forum (delivery of results from TM and Survey) “YP’s are highly organized” “contagious collegial attitude” “Doing a great thing” “Never seen this happen before” Philosophy: don’t just listen to the loud and the eloquent. At Snowmass: YPP and YPF YPP Survey Overheard at Snowmass and elsewhere… John Krane -- Iowa State University

  6. Survey Release We did what we said we would, and had fun doing it… Survey writeup went to HEPAP subpanel in time for their Santa Fe meeting (Sept. 2001) Timely! A great deal of interest outside of HEPAP • Invited talks at FNAL (webcast archived at http://ypp.hep.net ) SLAC CERN DESY BNL LNS Princeton, Rutgers John Krane -- Iowa State University

  7. Original Project Ends The original organizershave stepped aside. The friendships forgedat Snowmass propel the new YPP. “Young Particle Physicists” New Projects Begin… John Krane -- Iowa State University
