For many people, lecture is not the most effective way to learn.
Especially in math, you need to work through problems yourself.
In this class, we’re going to reorganize the steps to try to make things easier for you.
The Steps to Success • Step 1: Start by looking at the homework. • Step 2: Come to class. • Step 3: Get help if you need it. • Step 4: Get 100% on all the homework. • Step 5: Get 100% on all the Practice Tests.
Looking at the • homework • before coming • to class, is like reading the novel before going to English lit.
The Media link gives you access to many extra resources.

Once you’ve opened the Media link … … the questions become available.
Each section only has a few questions … If you miss any, you can go back later to fix them.

Do your homework in a spiral notebook. That way you can make notes on the problems that you have questions about.
