  2. Either we are changing our world or the world is changing us.

  3. Matt 9:35-38

  4. Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom.

  5. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.

  6. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

  7. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.

  8. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

  9. Compassion, to be moved to the deepest depths of one’s being.

  10. 1 = Open mind

  11. 2 = Attentive ears

  12. Matt 9:37

  13. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.

  14. 3 = Compassionate heart

  15. Eze 36:26-27

  16. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

  17. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

  18. 4 = Hands to partner

  19. 5 = Ready feet

  20. APPLICATION:

  21. Greatness lies not in trying to be somebody but in trying to help somebody.
