Deltoid • O: Lateral 1/3 of clavicle, acromion, spine of scapula • I: Deltoid Tuberosity • A: Abduction, flexion, internal rotation, external rotation of the humerus
LatissimusDorsi • O: Spinous processes of lower 6 thoracic vertebra, lower ribs, iliac crest, inferior angle of scapula • I: intertubercular groove • A: extension, adduction, internal rotation of the humerus, depresses scapula
Levator Scapula • O: Transverse processes of C1-C4 • I: medial border of scapula, between superior angle and the root of the spine of the scapula • A: Elevates and adducts the scapula
Pectoralis Major • O: Clavicle, sternum, cartilage of ribs 1-6 • I: Greater tubercle of the humerus • A: flexion, internal rotation and adduction of the humerus
Pectoralis Minor • O: anterior surface of ribs 3-5 • I: coracoid process • A: draws scapula forward and downward
Trapezius O: occipital bone, ligamentumnuchae and the spinous processes of C7 and T1-T12 I: Along the acromium, spine of the scapula and the lateral 1/3 of the clavicle A: stabilizes, raises, retracts and rotates scapula upward
