On the back of the poem… Reflect on the poem itself. Note your own gut reaction -- how did it make you feel? Does this story sound familiar? Have you seen/heard of a similar experience (yourself, friends, family, news, media…)?

Would your answer have been the same if you did not know some biography about him?
