  7. Businessland Hungary THE HCCI – HUNGARY’S OLDEST BUSINESS ASSOCIATION • First chambers set up by Royal Patent in 1850. Act on Chambers of 1994 defined the HCCI a public law body • Compulsory registration for trading and industrial companies (at present, more than 600.000 registered companies) • Activities of 23 regional chambers co-ordinated by HCCI • Represents all categories of enterprises – safeguarding interests of business actors • Largest business association – 20 000 member companies • Special co-ordinating role in state-managed vocational training, registration of building contractors, grant consultants, etc. 7

Businessland Hungary VOCATIONAL TRAINING CHAMBER ACTIVITIES • Altogether 50.000 studentcontracts • 25.185 examiners in 2015, 82% in theframework of dualvocationaltraining. • Delegatesfromregionalchambers in thecontrollingcommissions: 10.500 controlledtrainingorganization • 2257 modular and 10.610 professionalfinalexamwiththeparticipation of 166.000 examiners • SkillStarFestival in Budapest with 15.000 participants • WorldSkills 2015 Sao Paulo competition: Hungarian team presented in 13 professionswith 14 competitors • EuroSkills 2018. will be organised in Budapest 10

Businessland Hungary HCCI INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS • Brussels Office, Membership of Eurochambres • Bilateral chambers in three neighbouring countries • Bilateral and multilateral committees in thirteen priority partner countries and regions • Eight business councils with 3rd countries • European Enterprise Network offices in 5 regional chambers • Partnership agreements with foreign national chambers in 70 countries • Cooperation with embassies, trade commissions and trade promotion organizations 11

OUR BUSINESS RELATIONS WITH MONGOLIA • Further development of business relations in line with the Opening towards the East Strategy of the Government • Fostering close cooperation with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry • Hungarian-MongolianCommitteeoperatedby the HCCI with the membership of 60 companies • Chamber business delegation organized from Hungary to Mongoliain 2014, incoming business delegation from Mongoliato Hungary in 2013 and in 2014
