Waukegan to College aims to support first-generation college-bound students and their families in Waukegan, providing resources, mentoring, and customized workshops to ensure college graduation success. Through the College Persistence Success Team, including a graduation coach, peer mentor, staff, and parent involvement, students receive guidance and support throughout their college journey. Waukegan to College staff will formally assess students twice a year. Mentors and staff will collaborate to track student success on the following measures: • School Performance (Grades, Progress towards degree, major choice) • Resourcefulness (Ability to use resources on campus) • Involvement (Extracurriculars, and Social Engagement) Tracking College Student Performance & Communication
