  4. History for Taiwan ASHRAE • 張德霖建築師-ASHRAE之播種者 • 他從1960年代即將ASHRAE之技術及設計理念應用於教學與實際工作中，如：台北榮民總醫院、外交部大樓、台鋁小港廠、馬偕醫院及沙烏地阿拉伯AL-Mouwasat Hospital 1988年有感於當時台灣工商業日趨繁榮，冷凍空調之技術提升刻不容緩，乃積極鼓勵冷凍空調工程師參加ASHRAE，並與王政四、葉玄等前輩多方連絡奔走，成立ASHARE台灣Chapter。

  6. ASHRAE Taiwan Student chapter • 美國冷凍空調協會台灣學生分會成立於1999年，隸屬於台灣分會，為國內冷凍空調最高學府－冷凍空調研究所成立，所招生的人員主要為研究生，懷著感恩的心，秉持服務之精神；更為發揚校譽、砥礪學術研究，學生分會因而成立。 • 學生分會不僅服務於研究生，於2002年初擴大宣傳，包含進修部、研究所在職與一般生，由於活動具有教學性及多元性，結果受到同學的熱烈歡迎
