What Is A Bill? • Statement showing what you owe • Your bill from Illinois State will list expenses like: • Tuition, general Fees (including health insurance), health and immunization fees, housing, meal plan, and more.
Terms • Tuition – a fee for academic expenses • International Students pay out-of-state tuition • General Fees – are non-academic fees • Pay for things like: fitness center, buying new computers for University, enhancing the campus, maintaining the buildings • Health insurance is included
What Office? • Student Accounts is the office building on campus that creates your bill and receives your payments.
How to Pay Illinois State? • Cash • Check (from a U.S. Bank) • Credit Card • Discover • MasterCard • American Express • Wire Transfer • Online Illinois State does NOT accept Visa!!!
When to Pay • Bill are mailed: • July 17 • August 14 • September 18 • October 16 • November 20 • Payments are due: • August 3 • September 7 • October 5 • November 9 • Last date to finish paying for semester is November 20 • If you live off campus, make sure to add your address in https://my.illinoisstate.edu/ • $35 installment fee • Late fees $10
Exchange Students • International Studies pays your tuition (and sometimes general fees) as part of the exchange agreement • We make these arrangements for you after the semester starts
