Idaho and ADRD • The greatest risk factor for AD is advancing age • 1 of 8 people 65+ eventually develop some form of dementia • By age 85 the chance of getting AD increases to almost 50% • The fastest growing age segment in Idaho are people 85+ Alzheimer’s Association 2012 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures.
