Is Mrs. James Crazy?. Could be…Only time will tell. Is Mrs. James a nerd?. Definitely!!!!!!!!!! I have “Nerd” tattooed on my forehead, but you can’t see it without a black light… Evidence??? I love school so much I come when it’s not open just to be here.

Is Mrs. James a nerd? • Definitely!!!!!!!!!! • I have “Nerd” tattooed on my forehead, but you can’t see it without a black light… • Evidence??? • I love school so much I come when it’s not open just to be here. • If they couldn’t pay me, I’d teach for free and do something else to earn money. • My idea of a good time on a Friday night is browsing through Barnes and Noble for a good book. • My goal is to be a contestant on Jeopardy some day. • My favorite thing to do at night is cuddle up with my husband and watch CNN. • I love words of all kinds and I have a monstrous vocabulary.

Is Mrs. James qualified? • Absolutely! • I have been a teacher since 1990. • I am a National Board Certified teacher. • I am Writing Project trained. • I am a charter member of the district’s Differentiated Instruction Resource Team. • I have HQ status from the state of Alabama. • I know my stuff!!!

  4. Does Mrs. James have a life? • I sure do. Here are a few tidbits of information… My husband Alan and I have been married for 29 years. Here he is with my niece Stella and my nephew Max. Alan is the love of my life. He works with telephones and owns his own business.

  5. More about MJ I am 50 years old…at least 20 years older than any other teacher on the team, and really old enough to be Mr. Croyle’s or Mrs. Mansell’s mom. I have one daughter, Tracey, who is nearly 20.

  6. More about MJ My mother-in-law lives with my husband and me. She talks a lot and she is a little eccentric. I will probably tell you quite a few stories about her because she is an interesting character.

  7. More about MJ I have three brothers and two sisters. My mother passed away in 1985, and my dad lives in San Diego, CA. I have 10 nephews and 7 nieces.

  8. More about MJ My dog is a jack russell / cocker spaniel mix. Her name is Zoe.

  9. My favorites: • Musical group – The Eagles • Song – American Pie • Genre of Music – Anything 70s • Authors – John Grisham, Stephen King, Sharon Draper, Lois Lowery, Laurie Halse Anderson • Television show – Seinfeld reruns and anything on the Food Network

  10. My favorites continued… • Radio station – XM 70’s channel • Food – Mexican • Movie – any romantic comedy • Hobby – reading or cooking • Place – the beach • Activity – teaching or learning anything
