The Reflecting Telescope What is it? It is a telescope that has light go through it and hit a whole bunch of different reflecting mirrors that the light bounces off of and then enlarges the thing you are looking at. How does it contribute to science? Improved the visions of space and started looking at things out in space farther than the naked eye. Where did he invent it? He invented it while teaching at trinity college in Cambridge England in the winter of 1667-1668. Why did he discover it? To see the stars and planets better
