Dependent Audit Update • Coming to an end soon • Numbers: Total of 6,644 employees and retirees with dependents • More numbers: Completed – 4388 (66%) Partial Response - 351 (5%) No Response – 1903 (29%) • Last mailing to “no response” group on 06/10/2010
USG Health Plan Update • Only the facts • May 12th – Possible options • Voluntary PPO/HSAPPO (high deductible) • Restrictive network option • Self-insure HMOs, PPO, HSAPPO • HSAPPO contribution rate change 80/20 • Tobacco Use and Spousal surcharge • Benefit eligibility hours changed to 30 hrs/wk • Minor prescription changes Other changes to be considered were… • Require all new hires to enroll in HSAPPO 1st yr • Eliminate retiree health care for new hires
USG Health Plan Update (cont.) • June 3rd BOR Committee on Personnel & Benefits met in Atlanta • Presidents or their Designated Representative attended and spoke • Asked committee to delay decisions on health plans until August – more analysis should be done • June 8th Committee reconvened & delayed all decisions on health plans changes until August • Total Rewards Steering Committee will have their first meeting tomorrow at the USG BOR office to further discuss and analyze these plan changes
