  3. Mentality Driving QuickBooks 2011/12 Development • Focus on quality rather than throwing in the kitchen sink. • Design and develop features over 90% of users would use • Listen to the AC network

  4. Development process going forward • August – New features will be proposed to the AC council. • Review AC Council feedback and come up with a plan for QuickBooks 12/13 features. • October – revised features presented to the AC council • November – lock down final features for 2012/13 • November/December – Beta 1 available Online and Offline for AC council • January/February – Beta 2 available Online and offline for AC council & AC channel • Final Sign off (no further changes) -

Enhancements for 11/12 • Amounts include Tax Option is now remembered for memorised transactions • Warning message when tax amount is entered into a journal without a tax item. • Part payments on Customs Bills now pull the GST paid portion to the GST 101 Box 13. • Importing a bank statement will no longer open an old version when multiple copies of QuickBooks are installed on the PC.

  7. APS Chart of Accounts • Will allow users to integrate with future Reckon Software a lot easier • No mapping required for integration in the future • Accountant built chart of accounts even if they have purchased from retail • Makes your life easier

  8. Official Office 2010 Support • QuickBooks 11/12 is the first version of QuickBooks to be officially supported • Supports both 64bit and 32 bit versions of Office • Integration will now be supported by the tech support team.

Enhanced Search • Implemented based on user feedback • New wildcard style search for Customer and Supplier centre • Searches every field on the customer and supplier centre – even custom fields! • Allows you to use typical wildcard items such as % for ‘like’ • Can even search on half words or half phone numbers.

  10. Enhanced Company Snapshot • The snapshot can now be customised • A new payments snapshot has been added • Continues the two click mantra that Qbi has had since launch in 2008/09 • Zoom in on any amount to see where its coming from
