About the Giving Garden Located in Carrollton, TX The only community garden in Carrollton Began planting in February 2010 Now have 32 raised beds built Donated over 450 lbs of produce our first year
Our Timeline April, 2009 - first meeting of 5 persons met at Aldersgate UMC July, 2009 – Partnership between AUMC group and Keep Carrollton Beautiful group October, 2009 – public meeting at library November, 2009 – formal planning committee formed February, 2010 – first work day to build out 16 beds
