  2. TL 12th Sept. SFT Group Meeting 24th June • S. Myers will become head of CERN Medical Applications • New stakeholder relations Office: • Voss – Head of intl relations, Tsesmelis – deputy • Gilles - Communications, Landua – Education & Outreach • Development & Innovation Unit created in DG-DI • pursue external funding to foster detector R&D • carry-out conceptual design projects • M. Nessi & M.Nordberg • CERN budget • 2012 ~complete (5.2 MCHF : GR/ES) • 2013 at 84% (GR, ES Portugal, Serbia missing, ++) • LS1 – 2-3 week delay; hope to recover next year.

  3. TL 12th Sept. SFT Group Meeting 24th June • PH in 2013 • DH - Livio Mapelli, Deputy - Roger Forty • C. Granier joins PH to provide help on personnel management (LDtoIC, recruitment etc.); New HRA (Lore Taillieu) • Will be changes in DPO – Jose retires in Fall 2014 • Sophie Baron (PH-ESE) replaces T. Camporese for Cat 2 fellows • folders available after ranking (HR date) : 7th October • deadline for PH group requests : ~ Wednesday 23rd October (tbc) • S. Data-Cockerill will take over from Vincent as Ombuds • CERN Open Days 28/29 Sept • few tickets may be available on discretionary basis for visits • Access to CERN sites will be restricted on Saturday-Sunday. • Piquets etc will get a special sticker.

  4. BBQ - Tomorrow SFT Group Meeting 24th June N.B. Will take place at the BBQ site in Prevessin Start is 17.30, meat available from 18.30 Weather Forecast is ‘dry’ – it will be cool 33 people registered so far – please contact Ulla Family/friends are welcome!
