  18. How long does it take? • When barcodes are inside books • Average: 8.2 seconds per book • Investing 10 hrs/day 23 days for 100,000 books • CD (Barcode outside) • Average: 3.9 seconds per CD • Investing 10 hrs/day 12 days for 100,000 CDs 18

  20. Where did they go? Books misplaced more than 100 books away • N = 1800+ • All were relocated EXCEPT 198 books. • Among those 198 books, • 178 books were found where scanned. • -41 books had label problems. • - Remaining 137 books were an oversight. • The remaining 20 books were not found. 20
