  1. Where Do They Have Bleacher Seating? Bleacher seating is the type of seating system that you have seen at football stadiums all of your life. It is rows of seats which gradually get higher and higher so the people in the row behind you can see the arena just as good as you can. Bleacher seats inside gymnasiums are usually constructed of wood. The seating system will generally be capable of being pushed back against the walls when it is not needed and then pulled out when it is required for spectators to sit on. Bleacher seating is seen at every baseball park, however the seating may be cushioned instead of metal slats with no backs. The metal slat style bleacher seating is the most well-known because it is cheaper to install and needs less maintenance to take care of it.

  2. Many learning institutions have this type of seating system set up in their lecture halls. This allows them to fit more students into a class at one time and improves the profits they make through offering the class. Many musical theaters use these seating systems so that they can accommodate larger audiences. It is not uncommon onto see chairs and special seats available right up front and then the rows of bleachers in the back. The seat seats will cost more per ticket and the bleachers are a general admission type of seating. Outdoor amphitheaters will have these types of seats, but depending on the venue what they seats will be constructed of. Some of the time you will have seats made from slabs cut out associated with trees and some of the time they will be made from treated lumber that has been painted. These areas are usually made in this manner to make all of them more attractive and appealing to the audience. The highest point on the bleacher is usually the cheapest seats in the arena. They are often known as the "cheap seats" or the "nose bleed seats". Most adults prefer to not sit on the top row when they can easily avoid it, but the children and teens prefer these high seats and will seek them out when they could. To avoid the dangers of slips and falls most establishments place non slip surface coverings on the parts of the actual bleacher where people are supposed to walk. They also try and place hand rails so people can hold onto them because they climb the stair like seating systems. The average arena will discourage people from walking up the rows of chairs in streams other than where the hand rails are provided. This is a safety issue and it also keeps less dirt from becoming left on the seats of other patrons. Common courtesy has you to not walk where others must sit. Bleachers, metal bleacher seating, and all of the many different types of public seating areas have their hazards, and they have their purposes. We all want to go in order to events and be able to see so places to sit are necessary.
