What did we learn from the simulation? Afternoon Understanding team member roles and responsibilities Develop and agree on team rules. Map the current “as is” process. Set tentative agenda for next day Day 1

Morning Assess the current process Strengths & weaknesses Revisit Kaizen objectives View and discuss Power of Future Conversation video Review elements of the ideal process Afternoon Brainstorm improvement opportunities Discuss and agree on improvement suggestions, make team assignments. Revise process Set tentative agenda for Day 3 Day 2

  4. Morning Map the new process Simulate new process, revise and refine process Agree on revised process Afternoon Learn about standard work. Change forms, develop standard work Review standards of work Set Day 4 agenda Day Three

  5. Morning Prepare 30/60/90 day action plan. Prepare and rehearse report out Afternoon Establish a process for following up on action plan Present results of Kaizen to sponsor, managers, etc. Celebrate! Day Four
