Intransitive Verbs • Intransitive verbs are verbs that DON’T need a direct object. • Ex: Juanita immigrated to the United States.
Example 1 • Juanita had emigrated from Mexico.
Example 2 • The lawyer prosecuted 3 murderers and 2 thiefs.
Example 3 • The ingenious artisan made vases and figurines that resembled the Renaissance.
