  2. GOD’S SALVATION – OUR RESPONSIBILITY The Lord Jesus Christ saved us for HIS purposes and NOT ours. Our salvation on earth is not only to enjoy his blessings BUT to take up our responsibilities as well Eph1:5, Phil 2:13

  3. SUFFERING & CHRISTIANITY • Phil 1:29 • Rom 8:17 • 2Cor 4:8 – 12 • 2Cor 11: 22 - 28 • Forget Not – Faith without works • Dead • Jam 2:17,26

  4. THE GREAT COMMISSION – Mtt 28:19 GO YE - Our salvation only guarantees us eternal life with Christ Jesus in heaven. While on earth, His purpose is that we might work to bring OTHERS also to His saving knowledge. Jn9:4

  6. YOUR FGBMFI MEMBERSHIP - THE UTMOST REASON To be an effective witness for Jesus, and to GO YE as was commanded Make no mistake. Our testimonies, favours and blessings are all for the purpose of being effective in GOING YE , not for our pleasure and enjoyment as some wrongly think.

  7. THE UTMOST REASON The defining measure of your FGBMFI membership is to help with: • all your heart • all your soul, and • all your strength - To bring others also to Jesus.

  8. HOW DO I FULFILL MY HIGHEST PRIORITY ? • By my witness • By my testimony • By my actively INVITING people to hear about Jesus Remember, The FGBMFI ministry is all about calling men back to God.

THE ANDREW PRINCIPLE • He brought Simon (Peter) to Jesus - (This is the greatest service man can render to God- to bring your brother to Jesus ) –Jn1:42 • He introduced the boy with the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes - (showing concern about people in the Fellowship) - Jn6:8 • He had compassion for others Jn12:20

INVITATIONS • Ask the Holy Spirit each day, to lead you to people who need salvation • Ask The Spirit to show you those who are potential members of the fellowship • Keep a permanent list of the names of people the Spirit reveals, and pray fervently, with all your heart that God will save them “Be my guest” “Our Chapter Invites you”

  11. INVITATIONS Cont’d • Guests are curious as to what kind of meeting they are being invited to - It is simply a breakfast or dinner to meet and share the experiences of friends and contemporaries who have found success and happiness in their lives. • Now, pray that they will attend

  12. INVITATIONS Cont’d • Call the invitee to remind him the day or two before the outreach meeting. Assure them something good awaits them. • Be present to welcome your invitees enthusiastically, and appreciate their presence and introduce them to other members

  13. HIGHEST PRIORITY Cont’d • Be seated close to your guests, and explain aspects of the meeting to them • Call and thank guests for attending the meeting. INVITATIONS ARE MEMEBR'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, NOT THE CHAPTER'S.

  14. INVITATIONS Cont’d • Every member of the fellowship must be committed to praying for invitees • Remember, your invitation is to people who are potential members of the fellowship • Let’s invite , invite , invite. “Just do it "

  15. THIS IS WHAT OUR LORD JESUS SAID !!! “NOW THAT YOU KNOW THESE THINGS, YOU WILL BE BLESSED IF YOU DO THEM” John 13:17
