  3. Coordination of the Brain Producing and processing language Understood the language Language and speech

  4. Emotion Limbic System-Located top of the brainstem and under the cortex. Interprete emotion response. CingulateGyrus-regulates aggressive behavior and emotion responses to pain. Born with brain circuits to express fear, suffer great pain and anger.

  5. Memories and Learning Amygdala structure- responsible for determining what and where memories are stored The hippocampus sends memories out to the appropriate part of the cerebral hemisphere for long-term storage and retrieves them when necessary. Olfactory Cortex- Receives sensory information. Memories could trigger emotions by recalling past events.
