  3. 34th Consultative Meeting of the INIS Liaison Officers November 2008 in Vienna, Austria 28.appreciated the work of the INIS Secretariat on the Pilot Access Project, And supportedthe proposal to open the access gradually to all INIS members In alphabetical order of country names, as presented by the INIS Secretariat; 29.recommended starting actual implementation of the project in 2009and stressed thatit should be done on a country by country basisand in accordance with theINIS Membership Arrangements.

  4. ILOs Survey: INIS Technical Note No. 191 - 13 February 2009 “Opening Free Access to the INIS database and NCL” ILOs Replies: • Forty six INIS Members: Supported the open access • The People's Republic of China: Need for authorization

  5. April 2009: • Opened unrestricted access to INIS DB and NCL • No registration - Only for personalized features • May 2009: Subscription-based INIS Database ceased ILOs comments and feedback most valuable

  6. Announced on INIS website www.iaea.org/inis • Announced as a “Top Story” at the IAEA website www.iaea.org • INIS centres disseminated information on the Web inbound links to INIS • INIS in the World Wide Science (WWS) website • INIS Search Widget
